Rolaren is an alloy of mithril and trace other materials, its actual consistency is not very well known. The enchantment of rolaren is equivalent of that of vultite, though rolaren typically weighs more than but is stronger than its counterpart. Typically, it is blue-grey to black in color, and it can be dyed, albeit with some difficulty.

Rolaren and mithglin are both mithril alloys.
