Charl's Throw I is obtained at the seventh rank of the Order of Voln. The symbol allows one to execute throw attacks against creatures.

Using Charl's Throw I
- Charl's Throw I grants a Voln fu attack to the THROW (verb). The attack power is measured in MB. Two empty hands are necessary to execute the throw attack at its full potential. A successful throw attack often stuns and knocks the target prone.
- Some creatures are too large to be thrown; similarly, smaller races will have difficulty throwing some creatures that other races may be able to throw.
- Once the symbol is obtained, the command THROW on its own can be used to stand up from prone with a 5 second roundtime, regardless of a character's wounds or encumbrance. This usage never fails, unlike the normal stand command.
- Charl's Throw I uses 6 units of favor, but only when employed against a living target. Against the undead, the symbol uses no favor. One can use Charl's Throw I against the living 41 times per spin.

Obtaining Charl's Throw I
Talk to the seventh monk on the path to enlightenment. You must have 1200 levels of favor to obtain the required task.
